The Tuckernuck Land Trust has preserved 330 acres of woodland, wetland, grassland and beach habitat, on an island of only 860 acres, thereby reducing the number of buildable lots by 14, or 40% of the remaining buildable properties. By working with our conservation partners and property owners who have a strong ethic of land stewardship, natural communities are being preserved to sustain biologically diverse wildlife habitat.
